Battery seem to be better on LTE

I have iPhone 5s from Sep 2103. I was always on 3G. 5 days back I upgraded to LTE. After upgrading, I found out that the battery life seem to be better. For similar usage (music, twitter, email, facebook, browsing) I get 20% difference between LTE and 3G, LTE being better

Has anyone noticed this? I am sure this is not a placebo effect

The 5s tech specs say that it can get up to 8 hours on 3G or 10 hours on LTE. I'm not surprised you're getting better battery life on LTE.

This is true the 4g lte antenna is more power efficient and uses less.
