iPad Battery size in the air?

Apple keeps blabbing about that bettery is desame but the ipad2 had best battery life.
Now with a smaller bezel and 2mm shaved off the device i think we are in for again worse battery life then the ipad 3...

Your title has a question mark but your post is basically a statement. I'm confused, are you asking something or just saying something for the sake of saying something?
 
Other technologies haven't stood still since the time of iPad 2 and now. Processors, memory, displays and the OS should have all progressed to consume less power with time. So, I wouldnt doubt a claim to achieve better/ equal battery life with a 2.5 year old model.
 
I really don't like that it is a smaller battery. I don't have faith that the A7 chip will use less and it will have the same battery length as the ipad 4.
 
They said they shrunk down the size of the battery alot because the A7 SOC takes much less power, but they still kept the same 10 hour battery life while shaving off weight and volume.
 
I'm hoping it means that it will recharge that much faster, as well (compared to the iPad 4). Recharging my old iPad 3 was painful, and the 10W charger couldn't keep up with the drain under heavy use.

If you calculate it....the wh is on the specs page. Do wh*1000/5 and you see the battery mah is alot less then the ipad 4. 11560 on ipad 4. And about 6500 on ipad air probaly. Close to half the battery and 10 hours life? Good joke apple...probaly half an hour less then ipad4 wich comes down to 9 hours.
 
OP:Resistance is futile. You will buy the Ipad Air and be assimilated.

It's still pretty impressive that the battery is larger than that of the iPad 2 but the device is smaller in every way. I think we should be fine.
