Battery % sudden drop

Hey y'akk, i am using my mbp and my battery % suddenly dropped to 10% from 38%. When i checked my battery capacity, it was at 6,109 and now it is at 3,997 (it was at 100% health, and now at 77%). Does anyone have any idea what happened? SHould i call apple and get my battery replaced?

hey i'm no yak! HEHE

your battery shouldnt be dropping from 70% to 30% in the first place! how are you checking the battery capacity? i would recommend calibrating the battery and then running it down a half way and then charge it to full. this usually brings your charge capacity up a bit. if it doesnt improve id go to the apple store and explain your problem and bring in your laptop to show them the battery capacity. are you under warranty?

yeah i'm under warranty, so i guess i shouldn't be worrying about nothing. I am going to calibrate it tom, i'm going to fully charge it tonight and let it die when i'm in class tom. I'll see how it goes from there. thanks for the input
