Battery Swelling?

I am just about done replacing the screen of an iPhone 5. The battery seems a little swollen. How do I know if its normal or not? Thanks.
 
If You think the battery is swollen, then I would not use it and it's not normal. However, What leads you to believe that the battery is swollen?
