If someone could test the battery on their 3G with having the push on and off with the same other wireless settings (GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth..) for both the tests, that would be great.

I've used it with on and off, and I really don't think there's any difference. While many people will chime in with "no dude, srsly, wayyy better without push on", that's not what I'm interested in. If anyone could actually do some kind of controlled test with push on then off, that would be great.

Until then, here's a poll.
 
I did look at that thread (although admittedly pretty quickly) and I did not see the test I described...
