Battery Test - try this

Can everyone try this battery test out? I think this might be a more accurate and consistent way to see if your battery is performing to standard.
First with wi-fi ON, brightness 50%
Go on safari, just do regular surfing. Count how many minutes it takes for battery to drop 1 single percentage point. Try this for a few more percents, result should be fairly consistent.
Then....with LTE on and Wi-fi off, try the same test
For me, wi-fi on I'm getting around 5.5 minutes per percentage and LTE only I'm getting just less than 2 minutes.

I've found that when the percentage is at 100% and 1% it takes longer to drain at these percentage marks but otherwise it's a fairly consistent rate at which battery is used up.

I'm not trying to get a general usage screen result as usage time depends on variables such as how much you are surfing on Wifi vs LTE. I'm trying to devise a test that can calibrate how well your battery is doing quickly.

For example by just using safari surfing, all other variables are held as controls

Good luck with that. The only way to meaningfully compare results would be for all settings (push, notifications, locations, etc) to be identical...i.e. a brand new stock phone with no apps and no settings modified.

This test would be invalid.

There are way more variables involved that what you think.

Why are you even worrying about your battery life.

Just use you phone and plug it in when you sleep. Repeat daily.
