My 15" MBP is now all of 5 months old. I generally keep it plugged in, but over the last few weeks or so, I've noticed that the maximum capacity of the battery keeps going down.

I use an application called coconutBattery to occasionally take a peek at what's going on. Anyone have any ideas?

Since you won't be able to use your computer for 5 hours during calibration, you may want to do this step when you're asleep ;).

Generally using a battery helps. One cycle a month is a minimum according to Apple's site, but once a week may be safer.
