Anyone any idea of expected battery life for AW6 using standard GPS versus Cellular without iPhone nearby - thinking how long I get if using AW6 on own without iPhone in a typical day to include usual activities of walking/ gentle running etc as trying to decide between cellular or GPS versions of aluminium AW6
thanks

What I noticed in the series 4 and 5 was that unless you made a phone call or tried to connect to the car's sound system, the battery life was pretty similar either with or without the phone nearby.

Ummm. The cellular watches have GPS also.

With any of them the GPS system turns on when you do an Outdoor activity without the phone nearby. Otherwise it’s off.

The LTE system only turns on if the phone isn’t in Bluetooth range and there’s no known WiFi network in range. Battery usage isn’t that much if you’re not doing constant data transfer like streaming music.

if you think you want the LTE model then get it. If there are days where you find you’ll have trouble with battery being away from the phone too long, turn off LTE.

Thank you for that helpful reply I didn’t realise you could turn off the cellular - I’d plan on using cellular when gently running trekking without phone so that makes sense
