The battery of my MacBook Air seems to be depleting much quicker of late than it has done over the last few years.

I just discovered that Activity Monitor now displays Energy Useage - hoorah! Lovely to see that at the top of the list is... Google Chrome with an 'energy impact' of 13.61 (doesn't say what unit of measurement it is, so I'm going to assume it's gigawatts).

Seriously? No mention whatsoever of the energy being used by my screen? What good is this feature when it doesn't tell me that turning down my screen a few nits is going to save way more gigawatts than closing a couple of tabs in Chrome?

Now I just need to get it idling at 1.21 gigawatts and I'll be off to 1985.
