Battery when you first get the iphone

The day you first got your iphone, how many hours did you charge it before using it?

not necessarily...i think when i got my first gen it had low battery...it turned on and all, but i definitely wouldnt call it charged


its always good to let the phone charge for about a day when you first get it

then if you want to calibrate it, completely drain the battery till the phone completely dies after you fully charged it....once the battery is dead, recharge it until its full and your battery should be tip top

My 3G came charged up pretty good, I would still give it a good charge over night though.
