iPod touch Battery with 5.1

I have updated my FW to 5.1 and the battery seems to have been improved. It lasts longer. Anyone else noticed this change. Also, how do I get the battery percentage to show on the screen?

Go to settings>General>>Usage there should be a battery percentage toggle.
