Iphone 5. I never had this issue until installing Ios8. Upgraded to 8.02 and it still happens. I also checked to see if my phone was part of the battery replacement bath that Apple announced, but it was not....

When I plug the phone in it charges to 85% and stops. If I unplug the cable and plug it back in, it will go to 91% and stop. It never gets beyond that.

I tried to let it drain completely and charge as well but it didn't change anything.

I would love to be able to achieve 100% again....any ideas?

Thanks!

A few full drain and charge cycles would have reset it if your battery had lost some life...you should be around 85-90% of original capacity.

I actually suspect either a charger, cable, or charge receptacle problem on your phone. Try a different charger...that's the most likely cause.
