I have noticed that my iPhone 3G battery life goes for a little over 3 hours of use. I do understand that I use it alot when I'm at work, and I have 3G on. (Have alot of down time).

My main concern is that I'll charge it and it seems to charge rather fast. Shouldn't it take awhile to fully charge?

I think that depends on how you are charging your iPhone. I charge it as much as possible by directly plugging into an outlet. Very seldom will I charge it via my MBA or Mac Pro. So, it would seem to charge faster when I plug it into the nearest outlet. IMUSHO (In My UnScientific Humble Opinion).

Mine charges pretty fast aswell when it's plugged intoo the outlet.can't exactly say why.
