I looked around and I find varying opinions. My laptop is mostly at home. Should I keep it plugged in when its full or should I let it drain? Please explain too.

Also, coconutBattery says I've used five cycles even though none of those were complete cycles. Is it just problems with the software or does it really count as a complete cycle?

Calibrate your battery once or twice per month, otherwise you can leave it plugged in.

Cycles are tallied as your running total reaches 100% discharge, so 90% and then 10% counts as a cycle, as do 10x 10% discharges, etc.

All right but I'm confused by the second statement...because even when I discharge 50% and charge it back...it's considered a cycle in coconutBattery and System Profiler.
