So I'm relatively new to the Bay Area. And Halloween is approaching. I want to go to some good scary-as-hell haunted houses!

I heard about the Pirates of Emerson, and the Scott Valley High Haunted House. Any other recommendations?

BOO!

Gyro's used to be good but I don't even think they are around anymore. Ardenwood in Newark used to have a corn maze with a chainsaw person running around...not fun!

I've never tried Winchester, its always sold out or outrageously expensive.

If you really want to get scared, Power Exchange in SF. The freaks come out at night...LOL.

Oooh i love haunted houses, i know this isn't relevant to the OP's question but Chillingham Castle do ghost tours for £20 each,

You could always ask for a tour of the Lehman Brothers offices...
