Does anyone think the reason that there is a UK event hosted by Stephen Fry at the same time as the San Francisco event so that whoever is hosting the US one (hopefully S.Jobs) can demonstrate Facetime on the iPad by calling the UK?
We all know how close Mr.Fry is to S.Jobs and his love and promotion of Apple products.......just a thought....but could be very likely.

That's been the general rumor consensus (if such a thing is even possible).

Apple usually have a European event at the same time as the US one don't they? So this is nothing special.

But a facetime with Stephen Fry would be quite cool.

Just checked his Twitter account. No mention of "the event", just a lot of detail about his injured leg!

Why is everyone making such a big deal out of this? This happens almost every Apple event so the UK/Euro press can get hands on.

Does it? I can only recall it once before. It might have happened more often and slipped my notice.
