BBC iPlayer app won't play videos in full screen

After I've upgraded to Lion from Tiger, BBC iPlayer app won't play HD videos in full screen mode anymore. On the net, they say it's due to the fact that Apple has disabled flash hardware acceleration, but then I read on Adobe website that isn't true and that hardware acceleration is working:

We saw that there were some questions today related to Flash Player 10.3 support for Mac OS X Lion (10.7) related to hardware video acceleration. To avoid any more confusion, we wanted to clarify:

The final release of Mac OS X Lion (10.7) provides the same support for Flash hardware video acceleration as Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6). The previous “Known Issue” described in a tech note suggesting that video hardware acceleration was disabled in Lion was incorrect and based on tests with a pre-release version of Mac OS X Lion that related to only one particular Mac GPU configuration. We continue to work closely with Apple to provide Flash Player users with a high quality experience on Mac computers.

I'm now confused, which one is correct? Has Apple disabled flash hardware acceleration in Lion and that causes BBC iPlayer to not be able to play HD videos in full screen, or is there some other reason for that?

I have the exact same problem, just after updating Lion to 10.7.3 and it´s not only in HD its all tv programs they work great until I try to play them full screen then it just goes blank.

I guess it's a general issue then. Can we at least downgrade to 10.7.2 until there is a fix for the problem?

just tried and it works fine for me (SD - The Inside Men and HD Crusades) switches to fullscreen and plays quite happily

Flash 11.1.102.55

2011 i5 mac mini with intel integrated graphics (8Gb of RAM installed so 512Mb for the graphics side)

using Firefox as browser, edit - just checked is fine with Safari too

I can full screen on the browser but the problem lies with the bbc iplayer desktop app

Mine worked yesterday on 10.7.3 with iPlayer on HD and SD on a Mid-2010 MBP...

I've installed the newest flash player ver. 11.1.102.62 yesterday, but BBC iPlayer still won't play videos in full screen :-( Guess Adobe haven't fixed it after all.

Just to let you know, the problem experienced by mac users with OSX lion 10.7.3 and BBC Iplayer desktop programmes in full screen can be resolved by users downloading the Adobe AIR 3.2 Release Candidate (at their own risk) here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplatformruntimes/air3-2/

It's working again, thanks.

Ok, it's working, but I've got problems when watching Iplayer HD video on my Macbook, 9400m - it's very CPU demanding and it's jerky and stuttering.
