BBC iplayer desktop

Hi

Anyone know much about the BBC iplayer desktop.

I downloaded it along with adobe air and it works fine, but then if I download a programme,watch a bit and then close the app and go back to it a couple of hours later then the downloaded programmes don't work(it says there was a prolem with the download)

Any ideas out there

I'm surprised that you can use it. I thought that it was only usable in the UK.

You might like to try this:

It downloads in mp4 format and you can keep them forever, if you want. Not all programmes are downloadable though.

Hi Dave, Thank you for that,

I tried that one and it works wonderfully.

I actually use a VPN to commect to UK television (home comforts).

I think the BBC iplayer is going international in the new year but for now its the only way to get access.
