BBC iPlayer on rMBP 15?

Has anybody else had problems with BBC iPlayer on the rMBP using Chrome? My issues are occurring when I go fullscreen - either the screen just turns white (until I 'esc' back, then it's fine) or it will fill up so only the top left quarter of the video is visible.
It seems as if it's a scaling issue, and I was wondering if there was any fix or if changing to Safari would fix it - I am loathe to install Flash on Safari though.
