BBC iPlayer up streaming from iPad1 to ATV2

I googled something along the lies of the post title just now and got a load of articles from last month saying iPlayer now has AirPlay streaming built in, however I have the latest version of the app and I can only get the audio to stream, not the video.

Does anyone know if this is possible yet? Or is it only possible using mirroring with iPad2?

aTV2 and iPlayer

I have an iPad2 and aTV2. It is possible to get the iPad to talk to the TV through aTV2. However, the screen for BBC iPlayer only comes up for a few seconds and then gives the message

Unexpected Error.
Please try again later.

Keeps repeating this message.

Any other ideas

Sorry to bump up my own thread but just downloaded the iPlayer update and it now has AirPlay for ATV built in. Seems to work really well aswell.

Yeah but it seems to have done away with HQ mode, so everything looks worse especially when AirPlayed. Or is it just me?

It optimizes quality for your connection. Takes a few seconds at the start of the program (looks very low res to begin with).
