It appears that BBC iplayer as part of its current upgrade will give the iphone version an "on-demand" radio player to catch up on radio programs over past 7 days. Will also include a live streaming capability just like the desktop version. Finally !!!!

"........

There have been over 100 million requests to view programmes since BBC iPlayer launched. In May alone, there were 21.8 million requests to view, some 700,000 per day on average.

The new-look BBC iPlayer will be available on other platforms for TV catch-up, including the Apple iPhone and iPod touch, and the Nintendo Wii.

Audio on demand and live streaming will become available in due course........"

That's quality. I'd love to be able to catch up on radio shows, and it potentially means I can listen to the radio on the way into work now. And an update to the Wii software would be good - image quality is rubbish!
