This applies to people using Reminders on iCloud only.

My iPhone notified me there was a new Reminders app available and gave me a hint of a warning about capability on Mac OS. I guess I didn't read that close enough because it broke Reminders on my Mac Mini.

After researching, I find out I need to wait for Mac OS Catalina to come out before I can use Reminders on my desktop again. Not a huge deal for me, but a bit of an annoyance. Could be a big deal for people that use Reminders a lot or for mission critical work.

The Reminders app tried to warn you before you switched to a version that’s incompatible with the Mac. It’s pretty well-known on the forums already I think.

An option to go back to the old version could’ve been nice though.

The warning said "Important: Your devices need upgrading
To access your upgraded iCloud reminders on the following devices, they need to be upgraded to the latest OS."

Well, I have the latest OS and I knew it. So I disregarded the message and installed.

I did NOT upgrade the Reminders app in IOS13, the "upgrade" blue button is still there, and now none of my reminders that sync via exchange/Office365 are syncing between iPhone IOS13.1.2 and Macbook running 10.14.6.... Pretty annoyed, as I use them extensively every day and now I have different items on each device that are not syncing with each other.
