I store files on my SDCard throughout the day. When I get home, I login into my network server and access some shared folders to transfer these files. I have never had a problem with this - UNTIL High Sierra.

Now.....after opening a shared folder, I double click the desktop icon for the SDcard. Beach Ball......Finder completely crashes. The only way I have been able to use the computer is a hard restart.

AFter the restart, I can do this....until the next day when I do it again. Beach ball and hard restart.

Again, this started immediately after the High Sierra upgrade.

Any ideas?

When I Force Quit the Finder. The computer is non-responsive to everything except holding down the power key. Yes, I have tried that every time.
