Beachball and mouse

Hello
Since i installed mavericks a while back on my 1 year old mac i've noticed every now and again when i use the mouse i get the spinning beachball appear for a second or two then disappear.
I thought changing the batteries would put a stop to it,but it has'nt.
The cursor always moves it does'nt stick or anything.
Just wondered why is it doing this has it did'nt use too.

I get the same thing after installing Mavericks also. Can't help you there either.

it seems to be fixed in 10.9.2 betas. hopefully will stay that way.
