Beachball is back after Safari 4.0.3 on my uMBP 13"

After i installed 10.5.8 i thought the beachball issues were gone. Yesterday i updatet Safari and it's a mess! every few minutes Beachball Beachball and Beachball again. Is there any way to solve this problem? Have i missed a solution that already exists? BTW i have the standard 250GB HDD.

Has anybody else these problems?

did a general upgrade on my 08 mbp, 2.4 + 2gb, and its really not that much more snappier. it shuts down faster, but thats about it.

When I hear "beachball," do you guys mean its rolling for 5 seconds? 15? Or jus showing even if its for a split second?

If I open a few tabs really fast in safari I'll get a beachball for about 3 seconds.

In FF on my windows laptop, this is a non issue. I get no lag.
