Beachball when Printing in Preview

I have been looking and cannot find any references to this problem. Ever since installing Lion on my iMac the Preview application has been locking up every time I try to print a photo or group of photos. The only solution has been to force the program to quit. It is very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you updated the drivers for your printer?

Update driver but I think you may be on to something. The color printer we use at work does not have a driver for Lion yet.

If you are using a Canon Printer there is an article on the Canon web site about Lion, preview & text edit, which refers to this problem.
