I tell you this is so freaking annoying. I added my 25th app to my phone yesturday. I have noticed when you add a new one the sync and backup issue is longer. I can kind of understand it I guess as it is adding the program to your backup in case of an issue. But an hour to do this
. Come on it has to get better. When 2.0.2 came out I thought for sure the 45minute backup was finally corrected. As folks said it would over time it has crept back up. I sync at two pc's one at work for Calander and contacts everything else at home. On both of the pc's I have noticed that the the first sync/backup in the morning (normal twice or sometimes three times at work) is starting to get long (about 10-15 minutes). Later in the day if I have added contacts or calender events I sync it is done within a minute or two. It is wierd, same thing at home this morning. Back to home this morning. Last night I add Myspace app to the phone over wifi i sync this morning and backup takes 58 minutes I unplug the phone added a few songs do the sync it is done in a few minutes at best. The strange part for me is the backup is taking longer even if I have not added anything to the phone (no songs,pictures,contacts, events,nothing) No I do not have USB2.0 so I am sure that is part of the issue no I don't have a Mac that could be part of the issue. I just wanted to vent along with everyone else about this. I love my phone (gen1) and would not trade it for the world. Just so annoying these little problems that really should have been addressed weeks ago. Am I the only one seeing this issue coming back to the front of the line. ( I hope I can get 1% of the responses the microsoft commercial got)
