As I was browsing a PC world article on the september 9 event, I read a user comment that said: "Maybe Beatles Graphics backplates". They said it as a joke. After thinking about this, I began to think of the U2 iPods. Now, I'm thinking that it wouldn't be a complete shot in the dark to imagine a Beatles branded iPod touch. What do you think? Would you buy one?

Part of the U2 iPod promotion/gimmick was that you got special access to (at first, anyway) the entire U2 collection of music on iTunes. The Beatles are not (significantly) found on iTunes. This leads me to believe that any Beatles iPod will not be sold by Apple, unless they finally get the Beatles on the Store. That doesn't mean there WON'T be such an iPod (graphics backplates are a dime a dozen), just that Apple won't be selling it.

They don't even have the Beatles on iTunes.
That would be the first step, I think.

Even though I wouldn't be interested anyway.

I believe they will be putting the entire Beatles discography in iTunes. Sep 9 is A big day for the Beatles, remember? I see a correlation.
