Works fine on my phone. See if it works on another phone, and if it doesn't, something's wrong with the headphones, not the phone.

Mine also work fine! Let me say I have never used mine to make a call other than one test. Somehow it seems dumb to me to wear big ass headphones and talk on the phone.

just tested mine too. my first cable was faulty -- contacted monster and they shipped out a replacement (after sending back the defective one) and it works fine...
