Beats Flex and Mac Mini not working

So I have Airpods Pro, Powerbeats Pro and am giving the Beats Flex a whirl.

I have had ZERO luck connecting and getting audio to play through Beats Flex on Mac mini - Zero issues on iOS devices. They appear in bluetooth and even say connected but audio doesn't route.

Driving me nuts!

Reddit helped me out with this. Forget the beats flex on all your devices. turn off all bluetooth on phone, ipad, whatever. Hold the power button for 15 seconds on the beats to reset them, then connect on the mac. That worked for me, connected first time.
