About a year and a half ago I bought Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones. For the past month, the "leather" covering for the left cup has been coming off, exposing more and more of the yellow foam by the day. Has anybody else had this happen? Any suggestions on where to go from here? These are really expensive headphones to have falling apart for no reason after less than 2 years of moderate usage.

These pads are a maintenance item on pretty much all headphones. You can replace under warranty or find replacements inexpensively from third parties.
Amazon has its own category for Electronics->Earpads for a reason.

I don't know if Apple will replace them out of warranty, and sometimes the third party pads are actually better than the OEM ones. Just look at the reviews for what you are buying.
I replaced the ones on my JVC noise cancelling headphones. The fit is not as good as OEM (not available any more) but it's a lot more comfortable than bare old yellow foam.
