Beats Solo 3 & Warranty

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has experience of a similar issue..

Bought Beats in December 2016 - nice xmas present from the wife. £300.

Beats broke August 2017 - the folding device snapped. Covered under warranty.

Yesterday - no sound from right earphone speaker - does anyone know if the warranty restarts from when I got the refurbished pair or is the 1 year warranty from original date.
