Beats X Firmware Updates

Unlike AirPods, Beats X requires a utility to be installed on the Mac to be able to receive firmware updates. I haven't installed it yet. Has anyone? Have there been any firmware updates yet to Beats X?

Wonder why AirPods does it OTA\in the background, but Beats X requires an app.

Such is the same for any W1 equipped headphone. The setup page for the Solo3 states:

"Your headphones are automatically kept up to date when they're set up with an iPhone using iOS 10."

Settings>General>About then scroll down below Modem info and SEID info

I can't get mine to update. When I plug them in, Beats Updater shows that it sees them and is on v 6.7.0. When I click them, it loads the Beats X webpage thing and the circle just spins then says technical difficulties. Tried multiple browsers. Kinda a crappy interface. Don't know what to do.

If your using an iPhone with iOS 10 you do not need the beats updater. Just turn on the beatsx let them connect to the iPhone and they will update.

Mine never updated themselves. I had to manually do it. Weird I figured out how to get past the "We're having technical difficulties" screen... connected to my VPN to a Canadian server and reloaded and it worked fine. Disconnected and am here in the US and back to technical difficulties. Least they're updated now. The power on\off button being so intermittent issue was driving me nuts and 7.0.3 seems to have resolved that.

Are you getting any problem with volume control buttons now ??
