You can do anything you want in iTunes except: Don't update the firmware as you will lose the jailbreak.
People really should do a little research before they jailbreak. TS you just freed your Device welcome do the dark side!

Come on, we all had to start somewhere, and with such an easy jailbreak method and more low-fuss jailbreak apps, a lot of non-geeks (like myself) are trying out the JB path for the first time.
Yes, you can sync your iTunes stuff just like normal. (just don't try to update your OS until you KNOW it's safe to do so)

I don't think it is silly for a new jailbreker, however it have been answer several times, most of them in really resent threads, quick search will get you a firm and confirm answer.
