This is the setup in my bedroom.
I have a JVC FS-S57 stereo which I use as an alarm clock
I have my media server PC running windows with all my media in windows media center. All my audio is also in iTunes. Hooked up to 5.1 sorround speakers.
My macbook pro manages my iPhone (music, photos, itunes U podcast etc.)
All my audio is in iTunes.

I'd like to configure a setup where my iPad acts as a night stand display (with time and stuff) but when I set an alarm I want it to play on the JVC stereo. I also want to control songs and change them/raise volume up or down from my ipad I'd also want the iPad or iphone to play music from my windows PC to the stereo or 5.1 sorround speakers connected to the computer
I do some music creation on my macbook pro which isn't connected to speakers. Could I get it to play music on my JVC stereo?
When I watch a movie on my windows computer I'd like to control everything from the iPad.
could I do this with airplay or something?
