Been a while since I have updated, but what do I lose?

If you update, everything should stay the same and you should not lose anything. Just in case, always back up beforehand, either to iCloud or iTunes, just in case. But with a normal update, all of your data should stay in place and be just as it was before you updated.

Backup before update. Then you'll lose nothing. Hopefully.

Do you still keep everything if you're running Windows? It's been years since I've used Windows and iTunes.

So far, the only thing I've lost was my contacts. Hoping the restore takes care of this.

EDIT: Tried running a restore from a back up made hours before the update. My contacts are still gone. This SUCKS!!!
