Well, my iPod has decided that it's no longer going to connect to my (or any other) Mac... which is less than convenient. So, i go to request service for it, being as it's just under the 1-year warranty. The Apple service site will not let me through! It keeps telling me to enter a county, even when I do. So, a week or two goes by, I've emailed their "feedback" links, still doesn't work. Getting frustrated. Don't want to call Applecare and get charged $49, but can't figure anything else. Finally, on the advice of someone else here, I email sjobs@apple.com. Less than 24 hours later, Steve Jobs' office is calling me, they just left a voicemail, they want to get this issue cleared up for me. how cool is that! I'm all excited. Going to call back in the morning when I have my serial number handy, I'll post again to tell (anyone who cares) how it went :D

edit: just thought of something, they called my work number. How do they have my work number? No one has it! I don't give it out, as a rule. that's creepy... and makes it even cooler...
