Been slacking, any news on Untethered?

ive been using redsn0w 0.9.7. beta 6 for 3 weeks now on both my iphone 4 and ipad with no issues. people freaking out about beta releases need to chill. ive had ZERO issues. 4.3. will be out before a nonbeta release comes out.
The current versions of Skype and iBooks are working for you? No battery drainage issues?
I've been enjoying the 0.9.7b6 untether on 4.2.1 as well, but it still should be noted that you lose the ability to read purchased books in iBooks, along with (I think) MSN Messenger.
Well, that's beta 6. The prior 5 betas had some potentially major issues for some people (No bluetooth, skype, etc).
That's my main concern, I once had redsn0w on my touch and it caused HUGE batter problems, so I never used it again..
i dont use skype or ibooks very often so i just checked and your right those 2 things dont work. however ZERO battery drainage issues. I actually get better battery life on 4.2 then I did on 4.1. plus the entire thing is more stable for me then 4.1. was however It may just be the fresh install.
The Skype issue can be fixed if you install skype before you jailbreak with redsn0w. iBooks is still broken but to be honest I won't ever read a book on my iPhone. 4.3 is going to come out mid February to get Verizon and AT&T iPhones on the same OS's. From there, Comex said in a tweet or MuscleNerd did that they would wait for the jailbreak and unlock once 4.3 is out.
But as of right now I am rocking untethered 4.2.1 on 1.59 baseband and loving it via Redsn0w Beta 6
