Been waiting a long freaking time: Is there a good SOULSEEK yet?

Busted my butt trying to get one that worked about 5 months ago..with no luck. living on limewire right now... Any one use a soulseek for mac that works perfect( or as good as the pc version ). Man i miss that prog.

There is SoulseeX for a native port, and PySoulSeek for a sorta-kinda port. I believe those are about it.

Even I wanted one and found out: http://www.solarseek.net/ Though I am not sure of the development status.

BTW, Soulseek works on its own protocol or its based on some other p2p protocol like Gnutella?
