Hey everyone.
Recently I decided to upgrade to 14 PM from 12 PM, and even though I did not expect much difference (display quality was a nice surprise) I was quite disappointed otherwise. Not only with lack of new features and absolute uselessness of dynamic island, but also by the phone acting absolutely crazy software wise since I powered it on first time. I'm gonna write down the problems I had a hopefully I can get some solutions from someone here, who might have similar experience. I already bought an S23U instead and I am blown away by how good it is, but since I am still quite deep in the Apple ecosystem I do not want to throw it away completely..
Anyway, the problems are:
When setting up the 14 PM the feature to "bring IPhone to another device" to set it up automatically either does not work at all, or it gets stuck on "this might take a few minutes" I have left it to do it's thing for one hour and sixteen minutes exactly - nothing changed. Any way to fix this?
When I skipped the automatic setup, and went with icloud back up, apple pay disappeared completely including my cards, and when I tried to add the card I use mainly, I get an error saying that I cannot use this card in this region(what the **** I got it on my iPad and used it for years). Now to be clear I am using a card that is issued by a bank out of my region, but the card worked previously in Apple pay, but now it doesn't, but works on my iPad still. If I try to change my region to the country I am from, I get an error saying that I have to CANCEL MY APPLE MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION before doing so. What?
I literally don't have AM sub for more than a year now.
Does anyone have similar experience? So far had zero issues with S23U but IPhone is IPhone..
