Scary Gary

it plays off the belief that all women have a little "green monster" (jealousy) in them. I beleive. Im 17, the mystery that is woman is beyond me:eek:

i dont get it. i mean id ask the same question. if there is anything i hate, its a party that's a sausage fest

No no, that monster IS a woman.

The little monster hears that there's a party where they can bring a guest. He has no date, so he goes to the swamp to ask the big, fugly monster if she'd go. She asks, "Will there be woman there?", which implies that she thinks there will be competition for men if there are other woman there. If there aren't, then everyone is going to be all over her slimy ass.

Just my interpretation though. I didn't really get it until NT1440's post.

in the movie, "The Creature From the Black Lagoon", that monster in the last panel steals the archeologist women.

So it is funny when he asks, "Will there be women there?".

Sorry for the confusion....

shoulda just found a "Dilbert" for this crowd I guess...;)

Ah. OK. Thanks for explaining.
I thought it was one of those you-had-to-have-seen-the-movie-jokes to get it.

 :p
