Bejeweled battery drain

Hi,

I play bejeweled quite a lot on my phone but have noticed it absolutely destroys the battery. After about 12-13 minutes of playing it my battery went from 89% to 77%. Basically 1% per minute. I've tested it on an iphone 5 and 5s but have the same problem on both.

Is bejeweled known to drain the battery so badly ?
