I have a green screen, but I don't like to use it because I can never find any good backdrops, whether they're photo or video, to add in. I absolutely hate generic motion graphics used with people in front of them except for this cool backdrop I made that looked like a lightboard with colored lightbulbs that created motion (see the Justin Timberlake "Rock Your Body" video for a similar look.)

Where can I find believable backdrops of cities or studios? I'm making a mock newscast and I'd like backdrops of, for example, news sets, or on-location places like Paris or NYC.

Thanks!

I haven't seen much of that, but I did get a few usable images and movie clips for that exact purpose on istockphoto.com. Do a search for "studio" or "city", maybe you'll find something that works for your project.
