Thinking of buying one of these when I get my new Macbook Pro. Anyone know how much of an affect it will have + how loud/quiet they are?

I have one and it works pretty great for the price.

Its a good height and angle for the older mbps where the screen doesnt open super wide.

It also effectively cools the laptop. I fold@home on my laptop and w/ the cooler's fan on the MBP's fans never exceed the minimum 2000rpms. if i turn off the fan, the MBP fans go up to about 4000rpm to maintain below 80C or so.

Oh, and its not loud at all. Its louder than the MBP fans, but its soft and not annoying at all. My air noise from my A/C is louder.
