I have a Belkin F5D7050B wireless adapter, I have downloaded the 10.3 driver for the device on belkins website since this was the latest version I saw. I see the device in the system profilier. But I cannot use the device it reverts to airport. How do I get it to work? Thanks

More info...

Macbook 10.5.8

Why do you need the wireless adapter? Is your internal AirPort card not working?
And since the drivers are for Mac OS X 10.3, they are at least six years old and probably not being able to run on a three year old Mac.

I would like to run wireshark and kismac, on my mac. But I can't threw the airport becuase my card won't go into promiscuous mode.

Then you need to find a wireless card, that is compatible with an Intel Mac and has at least drivers for 10.5.

I guess you already tried to install the 10.3 drivers?
