Belkin f7d1101 v1 speed slow

I have installed belkin f7d1101 v1 wireless USB reciever but it does not gives me the correct speed as I have in my premises.
I have 20mbps connection and in my Windows PC it gives me downloading around 2.6mbps but in Mac OS it only gives me max of 350Kbps... while in Mac OS if I try speedtest.net then it shows that my connection is 20Mbps... please let me know what to do... Is it the driver issue or I need to change to any compatible USB wireless ?

I'm confused. If Speedtest.net says 20mbps then that is your connection as the website sends and receieves data from your computer.

Where are you seeing 350kbps? Is this not just that the website you are visiting is somehow throttling you?
