Hi there,

I'm going to buy a Macbook Pro (13") in two/three weeks. Now I've been lurking these forums for some time now and I read there were some problems with the Belkin Routers. I own a Belkin G Wireless Router F5D7234-4 (this one: http://www.frontierpc.com/ProductImages/Large/1012107496.jpg), will that router work on my soon-to-be-Macbook Pro?

Thanks in advance!

PS: This is the right forum section to post this right? :p

The Belkin's work fine, one thing I remember when I got my first Mac was when it asks for a password to your network you need to put a dollar sign ($) in front of the password otherwise OS X won't see it. Just remember that and it should be OK. At some point you may want to upgrade to an Airport Extreme or even an Airport Express to get N speeds though.

Regards,

Roger

i just returned a belkin router that i jut bought it was one of their newer ones. i thought it was my macbook that kept dropping a connection but it was the router. i picked up a netgear router and haven't had a problem yet.
