Belkin Leather Folio for iPad
RRP: AU$69.95 | Belkin AU
I'm not much of a reviewer, but here are some things to note about this case (and until I actually have an iPad to put into it, I won't really know how good it really is).
The leather outer material is smooth and soft to the touch. The covered in a textured rubber like material in a wavy pattern.
The iPad is inserted into the case from an opening at the spine of the folio.
The outside corners of the iPad are also covered (the spine corners are exposed). The edging is made of a cotton like material, with openings for the dock connector, rotation switch and speakers. The power and volume rocker remain covered.
When closed, the folio is secured by an elastic band much like the Dodocase, except it is attached to the front cover instead of the back.
The stitching is colour matched and is very neat all round. There is a small embossed Belkin logo on the front cover, on the lower right hand corner. It's not very noticeable. The overall thickness of the folio would add about 5-8mm to the overall thickness of the ipad. It also seems like a fairly light weight case.
You get a very slight slope with the cover folded all the way back, not as much as the Apple case would give you though. When using as a stand, you will probably need a non slippery surface.
Hope that covers most things... post questions if you have them, and I'll try my best to answer.
