A long time ago, I was sent a Belkin N150. Finally found it today and considering that it uses the alternate Realtek drivers and connection utility I wasn't expecting much. But it is 802.11n, which my Quad does not have.

But a quick search revealed this: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-belkin-n150-wireless-usb-adapter-f9l1001-success.126580/

It's using the Realtek RTL8188SU chip. Of course, the link is blown and the Wayback Machine was no help. Another search yielded this for Leopard 10.5 however: http://www.opendrivers.com/download/driver-147394.html

If you scroll down there's a link to download the installer.

I plugged this in, installed the utility, rebooted and connected. Like all the other Realtek stuff it creates a new network interface and you use their utility to connect.

Surprisingly to me the device is stable with 100% signal strength. I'm testing right now by copying over a 6GB file.

Some other notes…because it's a separate interface it is coexisting with Airport.

That makes my Quad connected to my network via two Gigabit Ethernet connections, one Airport connection and one Belkin wireless connection.

Thought I'd post this if anyone out there had this device and was looking for the driver.

I’m pretty sure this is the most separate iterations of simultaneous wifi connectivity in a desktop I’ve ever heard of someone doing.

You mean this? ;)

Oh. Forgot to mention…the device is plugged into my USB 2.0 hub, so that's interesting in and of itself.
