Do you guys have any rainbow effects on the edges of the screen protector?

Please reply and if you have any pics please share.

Update, went to the Apple Store and had them install the belkin screen protector. It fits perfectly and no rainbow effect. I’m using an iPhone case and no issues with any edges.

No rainbow but I’m having it lift a little in different spots. I already replaced one. The next one seemed better but by the time I got home I realized it’s lifting in a different spot. So I’m going back tomorrow to see about a new one. It’s minor now but ugh my ocd can see it

Can you post a photo of the screen protector on the iPhone with the screen on? Thanks!

I had the Belkin Ultraglass installed tonight in the Apple Store and I am pretty pleased with it. I did however notice tonight that there are two small specs of dust under the screen.

For those of you who have had apple install are you finding dust under the screen?

Just saw your YT video on the Belkin Ultraglass 2 and it looks like a winner! I'll be returning my Torras and will be getting the Belkin now. It's REALLY bothering me that the edges are slightly cut on the Torras.

Mine already broke! Carried it in my pants with another phone, that's about it 🙈 didn't drop it or anything.

That’s terrible. They claim it’s 2.7x more stronger but they crack easily?

I do like their screen feel better than Zagg and ESR. I still think spigen makes the best screen quality but their install kits need to be upgraded.

That’s not good, hopefully just a defect and not a sign of things to come. You should be able to go into Apple and have them swap it out for you

if its anything like the past, apple will not replace it. they will tell you to reach out to belkin, and belkin will ship you a replacement.

Apple replaced mine that had dust under the screen.

They told me that within the 14 day return window you can return and replace for any reason, after that you have to go through warranty.

I have the Belkin UltraGlass 2, installed in the Apple store. Very little rainbow effect on the edges, only when the screen is angled significantly, in a way that I wouldn't look at my screen anyway. It's a very good fit overall and it's incredibly smooth. No dust or specks under the protector either.

Had the Apple Store install my screen protector and yes, there is some very slight rainbowing on all the sides when the light catches it right. Doesn't really bother me though.

Omg this screen protector sucks ass. I just picked up my iPhone from the sofa and somehow there is a crack on the screen protector. 2nd replacement in two weeks

I noticed that mine turned into a bit of a dust magnet around the edges. I tried to wipe away the dust from one of the sides one day and it appears to have permanently messed up the glue around the edge to where there's now a permanent white edge to one of the sides of the screen protector.

I ended up taking it off after a couple days because I couldn't stand looking at it. I get why screen protectors have the black borders now

With a case on, there is hardly a gap between the screen protector and the case, at least for me anyway. I have noticed a small amount of dust collecting in that narrow gap, but I simply wipe off the dust with a cotton cloth (often with what I'm wearing) wrapped around my finger nail.

This was with the apple silicone case installed. Lesson learned if I ever decide to use a warranty claim on it never to wipe the edges with my shirt with the next one

I installed one bought at the same time as the phone. It had some bubbles so was going to return it.. then the bubbles disappeared on their own. Haven't seen that before.

anyone noticed after installing, some images look very very slightly “grainy”??

I had that with a, I think, LK branded protector on the 14 Pro Max a couple of years ago. Could definitely see a kind of sparkly grain effect looking closely on light screens. Think it was the adhesive layer. Replacing with a different brand sorted it.

Seeing as nobody else seems to be noticing similar, maybe yours is faulty?
